Solid Polyresin, hand cast.
Design: Friedhelm Lork Size: 23 cm x 17 cm
Story behind: A stage in the woods being the background, surrounded by trees and greenery, old trees, symbolized by the rings in their trunks. Trees can live to a very high age and so can elephants. Both live their life in harmony with nature, they are one. The name Wabüfant results from the elephant having been created for the open air stage Waldbühne Heesen in Hamm.
Friedhelm Lork lives and works in Gelsenkirchen/Germany. After concentrating on collage techniques he started acrylic painting. He became renowned through art on construction for the energy supplier RWE and by exhibitions all over Germany. For the amateur theater with the highest visitor frequency in Germany he created Wabüfant.
