Marie Meier, illustrator, born on March 25,1974 in Saverne, France. She makes her studies in visual arts at the University Marc Bloch in Strasbourg during five years. She finished promo major with her last diploma. Her artistic course starts with painting and installations. Creation became a true catharsis which enables him to exceed her limits. Marie Meier began exhibitions with the movie director Peter Greenaway in 1995. Very attracted by rough art, some of its work point out the world of childhood. She did a lot of exhibitions in France, Swiss and Germany. It is only in 2005 she reconverted successfully into illustration. Her works are devoted to the rock'n'roll imagery, which she works in an oscillating style between medieval art, romanticism, surrealism and 70 '. She collaborates regularly with magazines, in particular Rock & Folk, with French and foreign rock'n'roll bands, and writers like Virginie Despentes. Marie Meïer realised too frescos, as in paediatric wards and for the first international congress against the death penalty.
